Yankuang Guohong Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guohong Company”) is located in the Economic Development Zone of Zoucheng City, Shandong Province—the birthplace of Confucius and Mencius. The company currently operates a liquid CO₂ production facility with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons. Designed and constructed in 2010, the facility began production in 2011, with our company supplying the process package, key equipment, and chemical raw materials.

  The plant was originally designed for an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of liquid carbon dioxide. The Phase I design capacity was integrated with a 50kt/a dimethyl carbonate plant, with a portion of the output sold externally. Given the current favorable market conditions for carbon dioxide, Guohong Company plans to complete the plant’s upgrade to increase liquid CO₂ production capacity to 100,000 tons per year by 2018.

  In February 2018, leveraging our solid technical capabilities and extensive engineering experience, our company won the project bid and successfully secured the contract for Guohong Company’s CO₂ capacity expansion and retrofit project. Since Guohong Company’s existing propylene compressor has excess cooling capacity, propylene can be utilized to replace liquid ammonia as the cooling source for the liquid CO₂ unit. Replacing the existing ammonia refrigeration process will significantly reduce electricity consumption and circulating water usage, thereby lowering production costs.

  Currently, the project is in the engineering design and equipment manufacturing phase, with commissioning scheduled for August 2018.
